2019 BMW 8 SERIES in Pleasanton

The 2019 BMW 8 Series Coupe is Due in Pleasanton Winter 2018

The nameplate is a blast from the past--but the look is all-new, state-of-the-art BMW. It's the future of top-of-the-line luxury. The 2019 BMW 8 Series will be the first of its kind since the first generation was discontinued in 1999. The arrival of the new BMW 8 Series serves two purposes: one, obviously, to compete more vigorously against other top luxury brands in Pleasanton. But the other seems more of a surprise: the BMW 8 Series seems to be set up to actually replace the 6 Series over the course of the next few years. The first to arrive will be the 2019 BMW M850i, which will be released in December--contact East Bay BMW to learn more.

Flagship Interior Luxury

What does it mean to a "flagship" car? It means that that specific model is the best that the brand can muster--the best of tech, styling, performance, comfort, and options. There's little doubt that the new 2019 BMW 8 Series fits this standard--equipment includes Merino leather seats and M Sport ergonomic seats, soft-touch materials surrounding inside the cabin, and a host of premium luxury features.

New-Age Styling with an Old-Fashioned Twist

Currently, it's expected that the 2019 BMW 8 Series will be available in at least two styles: two-door Coupe and four-door Gran Coupe. We'll likely see an 8 Series Convertible within the next model year. Exterior options for this stunning new full-size luxury car include BMW LED LaserLight headlights and a carbon fiber body package.

Engine Performance

The first model released in the new 2019 BMW 8 Series lineup will come equipped with a TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine, good for 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque and paired to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. xDrive all-wheel drive with a rear-wheel favor will come standard. As the all-new 8 Series comes into its own, we'll see a larger variety of powertrain options.

Technology, Connectivity, Intelligence

Standard interior tech features in the top-of-the-line 2019 BMW 8 Series will include a 10-inch gauge screen for information and vehicle specs, along with a massive, tablet-like 12.3-inch touchscreen to control media, music, calls, apps, navigation, and more. A 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system comes standard, but you can opt for a studio-level 1,400-watt Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound system.
