The next big thing is here.

The all-new, first-ever BMW X7 stepped onto the scene late this fall and is ready to take its place at the head of the table. It will stand as the flagship SAV in BMW's lineup, as the largest and most well-equipped model.

We at East Bay BMW are, of course, excited for the new model to arrive.

The 2019 BMW X7 release date is expected for March or April of 2019--which is at the same time incredibly close and unbearably far away.

The new 2017/2018 lineup of new BMW SUVs has grown since our last deep dive into the X Series models over the summer--with new options, new performance, and a whole new crossover offering, capability has never been so tempting.

Or looked so good.

It's no secret that BMW revolutionized the crossover with their very first Sports Activity Vehicle when it was released years ago--creating a crossover that was truly built for your busy lifestyle with an air of elegance alongside its token capabilities. The first BMW X Series models shook off the expectation that dull, drab "utility" was the only thing that could define an SUV.

So, they made their own definition.
