"I can't begin to explain the level of professionalism, patience, integrity and character that Rich Cartledge upholds. Without exaggeration he is on a completely different level than his peers. In fact I cannot say I've encountered any other salesman that comes close in easily over 10 years worth of car shopping ventures. By far he outshines any of the salesmen and women I've worked with during this most recent car buying experience in the Bay Area.
Larry, I want you to realize that Rich Cartledge is the reason I chose a BMW in the first place, and he is the reason that I purchased it from East Bay . I want to impress upon you that I would never show loyalty to a salesman or dealership like I have done with Rich and East Bay . He is that remarkable.




I want you to realize that I when it came down to the final decision to choose a vehicle and sign the sales contract, I literally walked away from a perfectly good vehicle in beautiful condition at another dealership with an offer most would never see. I walked away not knowing if the car I looked at briefly and actually never drove at East Bay would be as nice or even available by late yesterday evening. I did this because Rich deserved that sale and he deserved that risk on my part. Why? He invested several hours with me over the course of multiple visits and countless test drives. Each encounter with Rich enabled me to appreciate and discover these beautiful vehicles to a level that only a truly passionate connoisseur could do. In short he is inspiring.



As it turned out the vehicle was available and was in pristine condition. The sales process was well thought out, efficient and pleasant. I appreciated Rich for pulling the carfax and certification inspection form that the technician had filled out. It was quite late after the sales process, well after closing, yet Rich took the time to show us the vehicle features and even synchronize a cell phone. That is dedication to a customer. I would like to thank him for all his time, and I would like to hope that he gets the recognition he deserves for his hard work and rare talent."

"Jason did a fabulous job working with us. He gave us his full attention and allowed us to explore the car experience during two test drives. I was impressed with his relaxed approach to our novice handling of the car. He also offered his knowledge of the car, but not overly so. His amenable, relationship approach was very much appreciated.We enjoyed working with him and even had fun during the sales process. For example, when showing some of the trunk attributes, Jason flipped over the wheel cover to discover that the tread side was dirty. He made a joke about it and we all laughed it off. I never felt pressured by Jason. It was more like he was helping us get acclimated to the car to find the value. (It worked.) We also found the financing process incredibly easy and smooth. While Jon and I relaxed in the lounge, Jason kept us informed of the process and timing. When we met with the finance manager, the process was very quick. We really just had to sign the paperwork.This is our first BMW, but I anticipate that it won't be our last. Both of us agree that we will return to your dealership in the future and request Jason to help us again. The entire process was really terrific for us and we love our purchase!"
